Were the rulers named in the Gospels real people, or merely literary figures? Using their “Four Ds” method – Discovery, Description, Dwelling, and Denotation – Dr. Joseph Holden and Dr. Patrick Zukeran evaluate the archaeological evidence connected to Herod, Pilate, and Caiaphas. The findings demonstrate that the New Testament accurately identifies historical persons, offices, and locations, strengthening confidence in the Gospel accounts.
